Artistic Director & Conductor George Hanson joins the worldwide celebration of the 250th birthday of Ludwig van Beethoven with Classical and Pops concerts featuring world-class soloists and orchestra.

Swings Fore Strings – Sunday, June 7 – Woodlands Golf Course in Sunriver
The 12th annual Swings for Strings golf tournament is a fun day on the golf course supporting the Festival’s 43rd Season and the Young Artists Scholarship program.

Young Artists Scholarship Concert – Sunday, June 14 – Community Bible Church in Sunriver, 7:00 p.m.
Over the 24 year history, the Young Artists Scholarship program has awarded over $500,000 in scholarships to 153 Central Oregon classical music students. This annual concert is a showcase of the exceptional talent of these young musicians. 

Festival Faire Dinner & Auction – Sunday, July 26 – Sunriver Resort Great Hall, 4:30 p.m.
The elegant Festival Faire dinner and auction in the Great Hall at Sunriver Resort includes performances by the talented Young Artists Scholarship winners. This grand fundraiser directly supports the scholarship program and the summer festival. 

Pops Concert – Sunday, August 9, 7:30 p.m.
Featuring Octavio Moreno, baritone and Sarah Mattox, mezzo-soprano

Voice Master Class – Monday, August 10 – Location TBA
Baritone Octavio Moreno with voice students. Audience members welcome. 

Discover the Symphony Concert – Monday August 10 – Benham Hall at Sunriver SHARC, 6:00 p.m.
Featuring Young Artists Scholarship soloists
A one-hour educational and entertaining concert presenting orchestral music in a fun and informal setting. For kids of all ages! 

Classical Concert I – Friday August 14 – Tower Theatre in downtown Bend, 7:30 p.m.
Featuring internationally-renowned Eroica Trio
The most sought-after trio in the world, the Grammy-nominated Eroica Trio performs Beethoven's Concerto for Violin, Cello, and Piano followed by Beethoven's Symphony No 3 in Eb Major, Op. 55, Eroica.

Classical Concert II – Sunday, August 16 – Sunriver Resort Great Hall, 7:30 p.m.
Featuring Steven Moeckel, violin
The anticipated return of violinist Steven Moeckel as featured soloist in Beethoven's Violin Concerto. This powerful program concludes with Brahms Symphony No. 1 in C Minor, Op. 68.

Solo Piano Concert – Monday, August 17 – Sunriver Resort Great Hall, 7:30 p.m.
Featuring Cliburn medalist Daniel Hsu
Join us as Cliburn medalist Daniel Hsu, recognized for his easy virtuosity and bold musicianship, presents a powerful, thoughtful, and sensitive solo performance.

Piano Master Class – Tuesday, August 18 – Sunriver Resort Great Hall, 2:00 p.m.
Cliburn medalist Daniel Hsu with advanced piano students. Audience members welcome. 

Classical Concert III – Wednesday, August 19 – Sunriver Resort Great Hall, 7:30 p.m.
Featuring Cliburn medalist Daniel Hsu
Cliburn medalist Daniel Hsu performs Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5 in Eb Major, Op. 73, Emperor and then the orchestra fills the Great Hall with the iconic Beethoven Symphony No. 5 in C Minor, Op. 67.

Classical Concert IV – Saturday, August 22, 7:30 p.m.
The Festival Orchestra, the Central Oregon Mastersingers, and a vocal quartet of highest caliber from the esteemed Ravinia Steans Music Institute all come together to bring you Beethoven's beloved Symphony No. 9 in D Minor, Op. 125.




Friends of the Festival members receive priority choice in seat selection and can purchase tickets as early as April 1, 2020.
